In the fall of 2021, we introduced the SourceCode Strong program to demonstrate our commitment to holistic well-being. The program encompasses a wide range of benefits and resources designed to support our employees’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Here are some key components of the SourceCode Strong program:

 

  • Mental Wellness Stipend: We provide an annual stipend of $900 to support our employees’ mental well-being, encouraging them to prioritize self-care and seek professional support when needed.
  • Insurance Options and Offerings: We extend our insurance benefits to cover the spouses and children of our employees, ensuring the well-being of their entire families.
  • Access to TalkSpace: Recognizing the importance of mental health, we offer access to TalkSpace, an online therapy platform, to provide convenient and confidential support to our team members.
  • Access to Calm: All team members are provided access to Calm, a wellness app that provides extra support to our team members that fosters a healthy and balanced lifestyle among our team.
  • NOPE Days: We understand that there are days when productivity may be affected due to personal reasons. To support our team members during such times, we allocate two “NOPE” days each year, allowing them to take time off when they need it most.
  • Continued Learning and Development: We provide access to a professional online education platform, enabling our employees to invest in themselves, pursue their passions and sharpen their skills.
  • SC Strong Fridays: To promote work-life balance, we implement SC Strong Fridays, allowing our team members to leave by 2pm every Friday, resulting in a 37-hour work week.
  • Quarterly Volunteer Days: We believe in giving back to our community. Through quarterly volunteer days, we provide opportunities for our employees to engage in meaningful service and make a positive impact.
  • Comprehensive Leave Policies: Our leave policies include unlimited sick leave, 6 months of new parent leave, and unlimited time off, ensuring our employees have the necessary support during various life events.
  • Bereavement Leave: We understand the importance of providing space for mourning and healing. We offer bereavement leave to employees who are grieving the loss of a loved one, experiencing a loss of pregnancy, or mourning the loss of a pet.
