Challenge
Multi-national employee recognition software leader, Workhuman, has more than 1500 team members across Ireland and the US. Keeping everyone informed, building relationships and trust between leadership and teams, and ensuring everyone’s voice is heard, is a challenge in most organizations. When your mission is employee recognition, internal communications has to be faultless.
Solution
SourceCode assumed the role of Workhuman’s senior internal comms team. We developed, filmed and distributed a series of Executive Strategy Session videos to build greater understanding of roles, responsibilities and vision for the org’s leaders.
We also built and led monthly People Leader meetings, compiling org-wide updates and initiatives, and creating educational content to guide consistent communications from all people managers within the business.
We built an internal and external executive platform for CEO, Eric Moseley and CHRO, KeyAnna Schmiedl. As part of this we created video and written communications to share milestones or news, contributed to Eric’s messaging for board meetings, managed difficult RIF communications, and rebuilt their messaging to respond to employee concerns and feedback.
Results
SourceCode’s efforts significantly enhanced Workhuman’s internal communications, earning high praise from leadership. The Executive Strategy Session videos fostered a deeper understanding of roles and responsibilities among the organization’s leaders, while the monthly People Leader meetings ensured consistent communication across the business.
The development of a robust executive platform for CEO Eric Moseley and CHRO KeyAnna Schmiedl allowed for effective dissemination of key messages, management of difficult communications, and responsive messaging to address employee concerns. These initiatives collectively strengthened relationships, built trust between leadership and teams, and ensured that every employee’s voice was heard.
