SourceCode was tasked with raising brand awareness and building credibility for CommentSold, a video commerce and live selling platform, that had previously flown under the radar with very little earned media coverage. CommentSold was looking for a strategic partner who could provide counsel, increase thought leadership, and break through the noisy retail tech market.
Solution
To achieve this, SourceCode strategically targeted key retail, e-commerce, live selling, creator economy, and tech media to raise awareness of CommentSold as the leading video commerce platform. The team supported CommentSold through a number of large company announcements, including the strategic partnership with TikTok, acquisition of PopShopLive, and the launch of several features, including Videeo, PopClips, and AI ClipHero. Additional activities included elevating the thought leadership status of its executives and identifying timely angles for newsjacking opportunities, ultimately improving CommentSold’s position in the market and establishing its key executives as leaders in video commerce.
