Challenge
Our team was tasked with not only supporting multiple internal teams for our Fortune 10 client at Cannes, but were also responsible for supporting the client’s entire presence at the international event.
Solution
Leading up to the event, we organized the on-site media list and reported updates to the larger internal team on a weekly basis; created media outreach strategies for two major announcements; led efforts for inviting media to attend an invite-only fireside chat with an executive spokesperson, the client’s high-traffic location on-site, sessions throughout the week, and exclusive concert; acted as liaison for media by registering interested media for on-site activities, and go-to contact for any needs; led the media outreach for both the clients’ news moments, including embargo and day-of outreach, organizing on-site briefings and facilitating follow up post-event; and led coverage recap efforts throughout the entire week for the client’s entire presence at Cannes.
Results
Secured 20 pieces of on-message, positive coverage in top-tier publications for two specific announcements
Tracked nearly 100 pieces of coverage and associated social posts over five days
Produced EOW coverage recap that was distributed to the client’s multiple executive teams
